2. Securely wrap each knife in cardboard, kitchen towel or bubble wrap, making sure the blades are well-protected. Place them in a sturdy box with ample padding to prevent any movement during shipping. Print and fill out Mail in form with knives and tools.

The frequency of knife sharpening depends on usage. For a knife used daily, we recommend a professional sharpening every month. However, every knife and use is different. If you notice your knife is not performing as well as it once did, its probably time for a sharpening.

How long does it take to sharpen a knife?

For drop-off services, we typically have your knives ready within 24-48 hours. Mail-in sharpening services are completed and returned within 3-5 business days, depending on shipping times.

Do you offer pick-ups or drop-off services?

We offer both! We will pick-up and drop-off knives for a small fee. Feel free to text (864) 385-4588 for scheduling availability.

Will sharpening remove significant amount of material from my knife?

We remove only the minimal amount of material necessary to get your knife sharp while preserving its lifespan.

Can you sharpen serrated knives?

Yes, we can! We provide sharpening services for a variety of blades including serrated knives.

Can you sharpen grooming and beauty scissors?

Currently, we don't offer grooming or beauty scissor sharpening services, but we appreciate your interest and hope to assist you with other services in the future.

What sharpening methods do you use?

We use a combination of traditional Japanese whetstone and modern techniques with ceramic belt sanders to ensure your knives get a precise edge that lasts.

How do I package knives for mail-in sharpening?

Securely wrap each knife in cardboard or bubble wrap, making sure the blades are well-protected. Place them in a sturdy box with ample padding to prevent any movement during shipping. For the proper shipping address, please contact me directly before sending your package.

Do you offer bulk sharpening for restaurant or businesses?
